Maintenance

All tenants should be advised that in order to protect our tenants and staff we are suspending all non-essential maintenance until the government imposed lockdown on movement is relaxed and things return to a more normal situation.

We will of course continue to attend for emergencies like water leaks, sanitary issues, power issues and heating issues where it is essential for the health and safety of our tenants that we attend. We will also attend for essential (regulatory) maintenance such as gas and fire checks that are required annualy by law.

If you need to contact your landlord about any issues then you can continue to do so by email or telephone in the usual way.

Rent Support

If you have lost your job because of the lockdown then you should immediately apply for benefits such as jobseekers allowance, housing benefit and universal credit.
You should also contact your Landlord to let us know the situation as we may be able to offer to defer all or part of your rent until your benefit payment arrives.

Keep yourself safe

In order to keep youself and other tenants safe it is essential that you follow strict hygiene rules.

When using shared areas such as kitchen, bathrooms and living rooms it is important that you thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water for AT LEAST 20 SECONDS both BEFORE and AFTER using the shared areas.

We also recommedn that you wash your hands before leaving the houe and as soon as you get back from being out.
